My first visit back to the brilliant Swanage Railway since 2005. The railway truly is stunning and I have never been to a station with more atmosphere than Corfe Castle.

I had hoped to have the M7 or one of the Bulleids in operation however BR Standard 4 No. 80104 was rostered. This was a worthy second best however she was quickly substituted by GWR 56xx No. 6695. The DMU also ran, we also saw the arrival and departure of SR King Arthur No. 30777 'Sir Lamiel' during a tour from London.
