After a gap of nearly a year and a half I made a return trip to the Bluebell railway. Since my last visit there have been some changes. New locomotives have appeared such as the return of newly overhauled H No. 263 plus two current visitors consisting of BR 9F No. 92212 & GWR Small Prairie No. 5521. In contrast some locomotives have been withdrawn since my 2012 visit such as BR Standard 4 No. 80151 & E4 No. 473 which has been withdrawn for boiler work.
Of course the biggest change to the railway is the extension into East Grinstead which extends the line to about 11 miles featuring running over Imberhorne Viaduct just outside East Grinstead.
Three locomotives were in operation:
SE&CR C Class No. 592 SE&CR H Class No. 263 GWR Small Prairie No. 5521 running as L.150
